COPYWRITING WOMAN (my favourite super hero) says not to do the following:

Use big words like: floccinaucinihilipilification and absquatulate.

Be sickly sweet: “If you buy our toothpaste, you will feel like a baby deer gambolling in the flower laden forest at dusk while playing the violin.”

Try a meaningless slogan: “Travel should take you places.”

Make ridiculous claims: “You too can look like an Azerbaijani body builder just by using our patented stick.”

Make spellling mistukes.

Focus on the organisation rather than the audience.

Make your sentences, all the time, difficult to actually read whilst... someone is reading them okay?!!

Keep it complicated: Think quantum mechanics.

Be predictable.

Repeat yourself over and over and over and over and over and over and over.

Use abstract waffle.

Don't appeal to emotions.

Don't use stories of actual events and people.
